AVANCE - Eyelash Serum EX

This eyelash serum is severely underrated! I purchased this end of August 2023 and have been using it every second night since. My eyelashes have gotten longer and stronger. The star ingredient, carrot seed extract, is great for the eyelashes as it strengthens the hair follicles. This means I've been able to retain more eyelashes even though I'm curling them far more often than before! I've definitely noticed less eyelash fallage since using this serum. The carrot seed extract is also incredible for blood flow, which aids in the absorption of nutrients to the hair follicles, further preventing fallage. The texture of this serum isn't sticky and is instead like a thin oil type of texture. The applicator is a classic wire bristled brush, similar to the spoolies that eyebrow pencils come with or the one-use spoolies you can buy in bulk. The bottle doesn't leak, even when I travelled with it! And even better is that it's 7mls of product, versus many other brands which only contain 3mls or 4mls. I've had so many compliments on my eyelashes ever since, and my increased use of mascara and eyelash curlers hasn't affected the retention nor the growth of my eyelash hair. I've tried a few in the past and I noticed my eyes being itchy and irritated, as well as the skin surrounding them. I haven't experienced that with this one! Would definitely recommend :)

(I do not have a before photo, unfortunately, but this after photo is with mascara. Before my eyelashes were pathetic!) One amazing thing about this eyelash serum is it doesn't contain prostaglandin analogs (PGAs). What's so bad about this ingredient you might ask? Well it's amazing for growing eyelashes but awful for your eyelid fat! PGAs can cause periorbital volume loss, which is otherwise described as the "melting" of fat around your eyes. This results in droopy and uneven eyelids. Yikes! No need to worry about that with the avance eyelash serum ex though. You can definitely use this serum on your eyebrows too! A few months ago I was a bit too eager with my eyebrow grooming and had a bald spot, but l liberally began applying the serum on it and within a few weeks it began growing back. By - Amy
